A Banana For ???

Adelle was holding a bunch of banana and it looks like she and Alyce were happily feeding something. Are they feeding a monkey?

No….it was not a monkey but a Common Palm Civet (paradoxurus hermaphroditus) it is also known as the Toddy Cat which comes from the name for wine that comes from the sap of the palm tree that the palm civet feeds on : toddy. It is a solitary, nocturnal, and arboreal animal. It spends the day asleep in a tree hollow and is territorial. It is a omnivorous who eats fruits and insects.

This Toddy Cat was caught in a cage that Nparks set up meant for trapping other animals. It will be released back to the wild eventually.

Here’s a close-up of its paw/feet.
